Camping

We went camping a few days ago at Lehman caves. It was fun. I'm not a huge fan of camping, but seeing how much fun Bristol had, was totally worth it. Bristol loved to put sticks in the fire.

He liked to drive his cars and trucks around in the dirt.

It was so pretty.

We drove up and saw this glacier.

Bristol eating a hot dog that he cooked on the fire. He used to not like hot dogs, but when we were swimming at Jeremy's house a few weeks ago, we had a barbeque and made him try one, he liked it.

We brought his digging toys so he could play in the dirt. It was funny because there were little holes all over our campground.

He wanted to bring his bug lantern. It actually worked out pretty well.

In the morning we went to the cave. It was cool. Bristol was only afraid because I told him there might be bats in there, but when we got there our tour guide told us there were not bats. He was happy.

These little things were called cave popcorn. I thought they were cute.

Quincy let Bristol take her head lamp with us, he thought it was so cool. He liked it in the cave. Thanks Quincy! Bristols favorite part of the cave was the "heartbeat" at the very end. You should ask him about it sometime, it's pretty cute.

After the cave tour he said a little pledge about how he would take care of the mountains, and then he got this certificate and badge to be a Junior Park Ranger. He thought it was cool, he wore the badge all day. It was a fun trip.
