Disneyland part 2

Bristol loved the beach! He ran and played and dug in the sand. He could have stayed all day.

I totally spaced bringing any swimming clothes, so he got to play in his shirt and unders. He didn't care he had fun.

At our character breakfast at our hotel. Shortly after this, Stitch spilled Bristols orange juice all over the table and Bristol! He came back with a bunch of lei's for him.

We talked Bristol into dancing with Minnie. He mainly just stood there. But it was cute.

They brought him a Mickey shaped cake and sang to him for his birthday. He was very excited, although the cake didn't taste very good.

Riding Pirates for the millionth time...

On the carousel in California Adventure. They announced his name for his birthday, along with an older lady he had made friends with. She was wearing ears like his, she was turning 55. When the guy announced their names, Bristol turned back and just smiled so excitedly at her. She and I laughed so hard. We went on a few of the same rides as her and they would talk everytime they passed. Bristol was so cute, everytime he saw someone with birthday ears on he would go and tell them happy birthday.

Disneyland/picture overload

We were so lucky to get to go to Disneyland a few weeks ago. It was so much fun. I have always wanted to go when it was all dressed up for Christmas, and I loved it. It was Bristol's birthday trip too. He had so much fun.

Bristol's favorite rides were Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, the teacups, and Small World. He also liked Buzz Lightyear, Toy Story Mania, the Tiki Room, Winnie the Pooh, and the train.

He had fun seeing all the characters. His favorite character is Captain Hook. We didn't see him the whole trip, then just as we were leaving we saw him. Bristol thought it was so cool. Captain Hook wouldn't stop to take pictures, he just liked scaring people. So we didn't get a picture, but we saw him.

My favorite parts about the trip were of course all the Christmas decorations, and waking up every morning to Bristol saying "we're in California!". Also when we went on Peter Pan the first time, the girl running the ride said " Have fun and watch out for Captain Hook!" Bristol replied. "What? I love that guy!" He is so funny.

During the parade he wanted this super cool sword. He also suddenly decided he needed ears, and he picked out these birthday ones.

Bristol loved this huge tree.

He needed this purple balloon. He has decided that his favorite color is purple, so everything was purple. When we went on the carousel he had to sit on a horse with a purple sadle.

And he had to sit in the purple teacup.

I loved that all the characters were in Christmas clothes.

He was excited we got line 5. He thought is was because he is 5 now.

He had so much fun driving.

California Adventure

Tower of Terror. He did not like this ride. But he was really brave and went on it with me. It's my favorite ride. He said he will never go on it again.

He liked playing on this band thing in Bug's life.

I loved these giant Christmas ornaments.

They are doing construction in California Adventure, Bristol wanted to stand by this guy to see if he matched.

The Haunted Mansion was decorated as Nightmare Before Christmas. Bristol loves that movie. He was nervous the first time we rode it, and about half way through he said, "what was I scared of?"

It was Bristol's celebration day at preschool last week. His teacher is so awesome. Each kid has a celebration day where they get interviewed and everyone draws a picture of them. Bristol was so excited when he got done with school. I just wanted to share his interview answers. If I could figure out how to use my scanner, I would put some of the drawings on here. :) Anyway, I think he is so cute. I sure love you kid!

The best part about being me is I have really special clothes.

If I was a color I would be the color purple, because I love it.

My absolute favorite thing in the world is playing with my cousin.

My favorite person ever is : Livvy

I wish so bad that I could be in the jungle. ( He told me because he wants to swing on vines. )

If I was an animal I would be a tiger, because they're so cool.

I think that I am amazing because I can jump really high on the tramp.

Happy Birthday Bristol!

Friday was Bristol's 5th Birthday! I can't believe he is 5 already!! He had lots of fun. On Thursday we went to Pirate Island for pizza and to play games. Then on Friday we went to see Christmas Carol. It was pretty good. He wanted a Batman birthday again, so I made him another Batman cake. This cake was just as ugly as the last one. At least it had toys to distract. :)

He got spoiled by everyone. Thanks for all the stuff!

Autumn Fun

Bristol has had a fun time these past few weeks. We made a witch house cake.

We made candy corn cupcakes. I thought they turned out really cute.

We went to Gardner Village. It was fun. We had never been before. Bristol had fun finding all the witches.

This splat witch was Bristol's favorite.

We also raked leaves, fun. Not really, but Bristol wanted to make a big pile by his slide, so we did.

Bristol finally got to carve a pumpkin. Mom has been a slacker. We grew the pumpkins ourselves and Bristol has been dying to carve them. He had a blast. Bruce wouldn't leave the pumpkin alone he kept wanting to lick it and bite it. Weirdo.

Another Update

I have been behind in posting... again... so here are a few things that have been going on.

Bristol started school. He goes while I am at work, so my mom takes him (grandparents, what would we do without them?). I made him put on his backpack so I could take a picture. I think little kids in big backpacks are so cute.

Bristol had his last soccer game. His team did really well, they didn't lose a single game! Way to go!

He got a medal. He thought it was so cool. He walked around showing it to everyone.

Yesterday we went to Thanksgiving Point to the corn maze with Brad and Kiva. It was fun.

My kid is such a cheeser!
